Pan Seared Salmon with Mango Salsa + 34 Days of No Drinking

I meant to blog when I hit 30 days of no drinking, but there wasn’t anything eventful to report, besides the fact that I feel pretty AMAZING. I feel like my body has detoxed and my hormones are starting to level off. I am having a great time not following a super strict workout regimen, but running everyday and incorporating interval sprints. I have also stretched everyday this week which I have been in a really bad habit of skipping after my workouts. I started tracking my Macros on Monday and this morning I weighed 138 exactly. I am pretty proud of that.

I was always under the impression that tracking macros was going to be very painful and difficult, but thanks to http://www.myfitnesspal.com, it has been extremely easy. I am in love with their app because it seems to have everything in there, for most restaurants and most items that you would pick up in the store.  I did Weight Watchers for a really long time and sometimes it wouldn’t have the certain foods, which was very bizarre, because they were super common. Not cool, especially when I paid $19.99/month, opposed to My Fitness Pal which is free. They have a really great app for Android, by the way.

Here is what one of my days looks like in My Fitness Pal (omg.. if I could get down to 132.8 lbs.. I might die of happiness)

I think that I will do one of my marathon trainings today with Lucy, my hyper active pup. I’m paying $9.99 for that app every month and I need to start utilizing it, especially after the fact that I signed up for this marathon on October 15th.

I made a pretty amazing dish yesterday, with my very own homemade Mango salsa. I pan seared two salmon fillets.
